On April 3rd, SCK CEN welcomed a delegation from the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) for an internal technical meeting at its facility in Mol, Belgium.

During the visit, the UKAEA team toured the Tritium Laboratory and the BR2 reactor, gaining insights into SCK CEN’s cutting-edge research infrastructure. The meeting proved highly productive, reinforcing the strong collaborative relationship between the two organizations.

Key outcomes included clear agreements on the remaining tasks for the TITANS project and preparations for the final meeting in Ljubljana. In addition, the discussions highlighted several promising avenues for future collaboration, particularly in the areas of CCD decommissioning and further studies on bellows components.
